Use the last visual element on each graphic or map as your inspiration
to move to the next graphic or map.
When you manage transitions this way, you invite viewers to think
and reason along with you. It makes the presentation much more mentally
"interactive" for them.
Instead of passively watching you move arbitrarily from one map
to the other, they begin to see that one thing leads to another,
which leads to yet another, which leads to the forecast.
This process should also strengthen your use of maps and graphics.
Why? Because it challenges you to call attention to specific elements
in very specific ways.
