Weathercasts
Introduction
The best weathercasters are also often the most versatile communicators
on the newscast. They:
- reliably
deliver the daily and extended forecasts on a daily basis,

manage severe weather so well that viewers turn to them in times
of fear and distress,
- contribute
positively and creatively to the personality of the newscast,
and
- work
tirelessly in the local schools and community when they are
not on the air.
Few
newscasts dominate ratings over any period of time without a weathercaster
who can carry that extraordinary load.
