Feel free to move and gesture as you address the camera. Research
has demonstrated a direct relationship between gesture and:
- expressiveness
in others areas of your face and body
- variety
in your voice, and
- your
ability to recall information.
When
you move, everything else seems to work better, including your
brain. And studies have found that expressive people are generally
more liked and trusted.
Watch yourself with the sound turned down. Detect emotional shifts
in your message through changes in your face? If your gesture
is not animated enough to compel you to turn up the sound and
hear what¹s being said, chances are you can be ... and should
be ... moving more.
